Dumb Raccoon Law


Why would anyone pass a law as specific as this? This dumb raccoon law is quite funny.

"No animal may be hunted on Sunday with the exception of raccoons, which may be hunted until 2:00 AM."


Apparently raccoons were once deemed so formidable that they could be hunted one additional day more than other animals! This dumb raccoon law seems silly...what if a ruthless deer entered your backyard during Sunday dinner and needed to be taken care of? Nope. No hunting deer on Sundays. Just raccoons.
